I am a technology researcher, software developer, and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California. Recently, I created Semantic Wave to organize the research and development of advanced knowlege tools. I also manage the Semantic Wave Blog.

I have been developing software for online communities ever since I selected the "View Source" menu item in Netscape 1.0. I first encountered programming in 1984 and 1985 on the Apple IIe and Casio PB-1000, and kept an ongoing interest in computers and information theory from that point on.

Most of my web and cli applications are constructed in perl on Sun, Linux, and Mac OS X systems. Recently, I have been building several applications in java.

I currently work at the Hollywood Stock Exchange where I maintain the movies and music exchanges and build out the next generation exchange platform.

Lately, I have been spending a lot of time researching the semantic web. The future looks bright. Many amazing things will be built upon this layer of the network.
